The Folsom Dog Resort & Training Center is family-owned and operated and the creation of the Davis and Romero families. Both families live and raise their families in Folsom and are active in the community. Over 20 years of friendship has resulted in a powerful team that is passionate about delivering unmatched pet care and customer service. Since 2008, The Folsom Dog Resort has served thousands of clients and canine guests from the Folsom, CA community, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Cameron Park, Rancho Cordova, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Gold River, and other surrounding cities in dog boarding, dog day care, dog training, and dog grooming services. The Folsom Dog Resort & Training Center is not a typical "boarding kennel." We provide safe, clean, healthy and comfortable overnight accommodations for all dog breeds. Our overnight accommodations and services are designed to provide the same level of care your pet receives at home. Our facility includes climate-controlled indoor rest and sleeping areas, 24x7 video surveillance, skylights, soothing music, and fresh air exchange systems. All of our guests have access to outdoor elimination areas which maintains consistency and health.

We surpass industry leading cleaning protocols to ensure our guest's health. Our guest rooms include a soft bed mat or raised cot bed, privacy from other guests and of course fresh water. We understand that your decision on who will care for your pet while you are away is based on trust. Each day, our dog loving staff conducts routine health, wellness, and housekeeping checks on each guest.

Detailed notes are kept throughout your pet's stay and you will receive a complete report about all aspects of your dog's experience upon departure. Most of our staff members are certified pet care technicians, which is an important and unusual find. Your dog can be trained during his or her stay with us. We have the ability to design a personally tailored dog training program for you. Because we have an actual training facility and a staff of professional trainers, we have the flexibility to determine together what format is best for you, versus only offering one solution.

In order to design a personally tailored program for you, we offer a Free Evaluation at our facility where you can meet with one of our training specialists. Prior to your evaluation, we will send you a comprehensive questionnaire so we can learn about your specific needs. Then we will meet with you and your dog to evaluate your current situation, discuss the challenges you are facing, and show you how we can help make a positive and significant improvement.
